- For example, fill a pan or bucket with ditch, rain or tap water. Place this on an elevation or table (at least 1 meter) and put the Siphon filter in it. For example, place a water bottle on the ground.
- With the help of the supplied syringe you suck the water through the tube through the Siphon water filter. Disconnect the syringe and hang the tube in the water bottle in which you want to collect the clean water. Due to the leverage, the water is sucked through the filter and it comes out clean and safely drinkable water!

Hose Attachment: Unscrew the swivel ring and firmly press the hose onto the filter outlet. Secure the hose by tightening the swivel ring.
Use the Filter Sleeve: Always use the supplied Filter Sleeve to prevent clogging of the filter. Place the Filter Sleeve around the filter and tightly close it around the blue cap by pulling the cord firmly.
Proper Placement: Place the filter in a bucket of water, ensuring that the height is at least 1 meter.
Saturation Process: A new filter needs to become saturated with water. Submerge the filter under water for some time, possibly by placing a weight on it, while allowing the water to flow through the outlet hose. The supplied syringe can be used to draw water through the filter by attaching it to the hose. To aid saturation, filtered water can be injected back into the filter, especially when the water flow remains low, to remove any possible air bubbles. Exercise caution to avoid excessive water pressure.
Initial Flush: To ensure optimal performance, flush the new filter with 2 to 3 liters of water.
Ready for Use: The filter is now ready for use. Close the hose by pressing the 'clip' shut.
