Equipped with innovative UV-C LED lamps and a power regulation switch for optimal performance. The system uses UVC light with a wavelength between 260 nm and 270 nm, the most effective range for combating microorganisms.
Energy-Efficient and Environmentally Friendly:
LED technology consumes less energy than traditional UV lamps and contains no harmful substances like mercury. Its low energy consumption and absence of chemical additives make the system an eco-friendly solution.
Immediate Effectiveness without Preheating:
The UV-C LEDs are ready for use without any warm-up time, ensuring immediate water treatment. Additionally, the system does not increase the water temperature, making it ideal for applications where constant temperature is important.
Excellent Performance:
With a flow capacity of 30 liters per minute (LPM), the system provides fast and efficient water purification for medium-sized applications such as households, boats, recreational vehicles, pools, and hot tubs.
Long Lifespan and Reliability:
The UV-C LEDs can last up to 8 years for a family of 3-4 people, and the system withstands over 100,000 on/off cycles. This results in minimal maintenance and keeps operational costs low.
Flexible Power Options:
The sterilizer supports 12V DC, 24V DC, and 230V AC (with an adapter). These versatile power options make the system ideal for a wide range of applications, including use with solar energy systems for off-grid solutions.
Compact and Easy to Install:
The system features a compact design that is easy to integrate into existing water systems without extensive modifications. Ideal for use in both residential and commercial environments.
What are the advantages of a UVC LED lamp compared to a traditional UVC lamp?
- Longer lifespan of the UVC LED lamp, meaning it needs to be replaced less frequently, compared to the shorter lifespan of traditional UVC lamps.
- Immediate operation with no warm-up time required for the UVC LED lamp, whereas traditional UVC lamps require a warm-up time to reach optimal performance.
- Compact and flexible design of the UVC LED lamp, making it suitable for various applications, compared to the larger and less flexible design of traditional UVC lamps.
- Energy-efficient operation of UVC LED lamps, resulting in lower energy costs, in contrast to the higher energy consumption of traditional UVC lamps.
- More environmentally friendly as UVC LED lamps do not contain harmful substances like mercury, whereas traditional UVC lamps often contain mercury, which can be hazardous if broken.
- Safe operation with no risk of mercury leakage in UVC LED lamps, unlike traditional UVC lamps, where breakage can release dangerous substances like mercury.
- No heat production in UVC LED lamps, ensuring that the water remains efficient for disinfection, whereas traditional UVC lamps may generate heat, leading to lukewarm water.
Legionella Prevention with the AQUA Logic UV-C LED Water Sterilizer
The AQUA Logic UV-C LED Water Sterilizer is an effective solution for preventing Legionella in water systems. Legionella bacteria, which can cause severe respiratory infections such as Legionnaires' disease, thrive in stagnant water and at temperatures between 20°C and 45°C. The advanced UV-C LED technology used in this system eliminates microorganisms, including Legionella, on contact.
With a 99.999% sterilization rate, the AQUA Logic UV-C LED Water Sterilizer ensures water is safe and free from harmful bacteria without the need for chemicals. This makes it ideal for protecting water installations in homes, offices, swimming pools, and recreational vehicles from the growth and spread of Legionella.
Power Supply Connection Instructions
Connect the sterilizer to a 12V or 24V DC power source or battery. Ensure that a 2-amp fuse is installed for safe operation.
Never connect the sterilizer directly to 230V AC; always use a suitable adapter for this connection.
Power: 10W
Suitable Water Temperature: 5 - 45 degrees Celsius
Suitable Water Pressure: 1 - 4 bar
Flow Rate: 15 - 30 L/min
Installation Instructions for the UV-C Water Sterilizer
The UV-C Water Sterilizer has a high flow capacity and is suitable for installation in both existing plumbing systems and setups with water pumps. If you are using a water pump, we recommend selecting one that can generate at least 1 bar of pressure. This could be a submersible pump (as shown in the product photos) or a more advanced pressure pump.
The sterilizer can be mounted either horizontally or vertically using the provided brackets.
Step 1: Connecting the UV-C Water Sterilizer
Always use the provided 30 cm long 1/2” LLDPE tubes. These tubes must be securely pushed into the 1/2" push-fit connectors of the UV-C Water Sterilizer. This allows you to connect the unit to different types of water systems depending on the setup (refer to Step 2 for specific applications).
Step 2: Connecting to the Water System
A. Fixed plumbing system (e.g., in a house or Tiny House)
1. Use the provided 3/8” brass push-fit connectors.
2. Connect the fittings to the 1/2” LLDPE tubes.
3. Then, connect to the existing water system using 3/8” flexible hoses.
B. Installation in a camper vehicle with flexible water hoses
1. Use the provided 3/8” brass push-fit connectors and 3/8” hose barbs with locknuts.
2. Attach these components to the LLDPE tubes.
3. Connect the flexible hoses of the camper to the hose barbs. You may use hose clamps to ensure a secure connection.
C. Installation in a camper vehicle with 12mm rigid push-fit water hoses
1. To connect the 1/2” LLDPE tubes to the standard 12mm rigid push-fit water hoses commonly found in camper vehicles, you will need 12mm straight connectors, such as those from the 'Reich Uniquick' brand.
2. Firmly press these straight connectors onto the provided 1/2” LLDPE tubes (12.7mm).
3. Then, connect the camper's standard 12mm hoses to the straight connectors.
Important Notes
- Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
- Follow the indicated water flow direction on the device.
By following these steps, you can easily install the UV-C Water Sterilizer in various water systems, whether for a home, Tiny House, or camper vehicle.
Prevent Freezing During Winter Storage:
Before winter storage, it is important to fully drain and dry the Water Sterilizer and the water system in your camper vehicle. This prevents freezing and potential damage to the UV-C Water Sterilizer.
