Installation on power point:

For the 12V-24V DC version, connect to a 12V or 24V DC power supply or battery with a 2 amp fuse. Never use directly on 230V AC without an adapter.

Installation on fixed pipework in, for example, a home or Tiny house:

The following parts can be used to connect the filter:
Step 1: 2x the 30 cm LLDPE tube. These can be firmly pushed into the plug-in couplings of the UV-C Water Sterilizer
Step 2: The brass 3/8 plug-in couplings can be pushed onto the ends of the LLDPE hoses.
Step 3: With, for example, 3/8 flexible water hoses, it is easy to connect to the existing water system.
These are available in various lengths at hardware stores.

Installation in a Camper

The UV-C Water water Sterilizer works best in combination with a pump that can generate around 2 bar pressure because of its large volume. This can be a submersible pump as can be seen in the product photos or a more advanced pressure pump.

A) Mounting in a camping vehicle with flexible water hoses:
The following parts can be used to connect the filter:
Step 1: 2x the 30 cm LLDPE tube. These can be firmly pushed into the plug-in couplings of the UV-C Water Sterilizer
Step 2: The brass 3/8 plug-in couplings can be pushed onto the ends of the LLDPE hoses.
Step 3: 3/8 inch hose nozzle with union nut can be turned onto the brass plug-in couplings.
Step 4: The supply hose or water pipe to the (existing) tap can be cut, after which the filter is placed between this supply hose or water pipe (if necessary with a hose clamp). Pay attention to the flow direction.

B) Installation in a camping vehicle with 12mm hard insert water hoses:
The following parts can be used to connect the filter:
Step 1: 2x the 30 cm LLDPE tube. These can be firmly pushed into the insert couplings of the UV-C Water Sterilizer
Step 2: Straight connectors of 12mm, for example from the brand 'Reich Uniquick', are available from camping shops. These can be firmly pushed onto the supplied 12.7mm hoses. After this, it is easy to connect to the standard 12mm hoses that are used in many camping vehicles.
Step 3: The supply hose or water pipe to the (existing) tap can be cut, after which the filter is placed between this supply hose or water pipe (if necessary with a hose clamp). Pay attention to the direction of flow.

Prevent freezing during winter storage:

It is important to drain and dry the Water Sterilizer and the system of your camper before winter storage. This prevents the risk of freezing and damage to the UV-C Water Sterilizer.
