Control Box
The control box allows you to regulate the power supply to the Electrolysis unit with the O3 Micro Cell. The settings are as follows and refer to the size of the water tank:
• 0L (0 mA)
• <100L (30 mA)
• 100-160L (50 mA)
• 200L (100 mA)
• 250L (150 mA)
• 300L (200 mA)
The system is optimized for water tanks up to 160 liters. For tanks larger than 160 liters, the current should be set higher. Keep in mind that higher currents will cause the O3 Micro Cell to wear out faster and increase the risk of limescale buildup. Therefore, regularly check the cell for limescale.
For tanks larger than 300 liters, it is recommended to use 2 systems, and for tanks larger than 600 liters, use 3 systems to ensure optimal distribution of ozone gas throughout the tank.
Maintenance of the AQUA Logic Electrolysis unit with O3 Micro Cell:
After installation, the only required maintenance is the removal of any limescale from both the AQUA Logic Electrolysis unit and the O3 Micro Cell. We recommend checking this every 2 to 3 weeks (weekly initially). In areas with hard to very hard water, such as Southern Europe, it may even be necessary to check for limescale every 3 to 4 days. If needed, they can be cleaned as follows:
Turn off the AQUA Logic Electrolysis unit with O3 Micro Cell by turning off the system or disconnecting the dc plug.
Place the Electrolysis unit with O3 Micro Cell in a container with about 6 cm of white vinegar or citric acid. You can reuse this liquid.
Reconnect the system after completing this procedure.
Tip: Check to ensure ozone production by placing the Electrolysis unit with O3 Micro Cell in a glass of water to see if ozone bubbles are being produced.
Importance of Descaling: It is crucial to follow the descaling instructions accurately. Delaying proper maintenance can result in the eventual need to replace the entire electrolysis unit.
Storage Instructions for the O3 Micro Cell after Use:
- Remove the AQUA Logic Electrolysis unit with O3 Micro Cell from the water.
- Ensure the power supply is connected during removal.
- After removal, blow air forcefully through the cell to remove any residual water and stop ozone production.
- Allow the remaining moisture to dry with the power supply on.
- Wait approximately one hour before disconnecting the power supply for storage in a dry location.
Replacement of the O3 Micro Cell:
To ensure optimal performance of the system, we recommend replacing the O3 Micro Cell every season. However, please note that this may vary depending on usage. If the system is used frequently and continuously, replacement may be necessary sooner than when the system is used intermittently for short durations.
The O3 Micro Cell typically lasts for a minimum of six months or longer
If the O3 Micro Cell is less than six months old, we advise checking the system for potential issues before replacing the O3 Micro Cell. Usually, there might be another cause since the O3 Micro Cell typically lasts for a minimum of six months or longer.
- Turn off the AQUA Logic Electrolysis unit with the O3 Micro Cell by either switching off the system or disconnecting the plug with the DC connector.
- Place the provided plastic ring around the AQUA Logic Electrolysis unit. Press the plastic ring on the clips until both clips are released. Now, carefully remove the O3 Micro Cell from the electrolysis unit.
- Insert the replacement O3 Micro Cell with both clips into the corresponding holes of the electrolysis unit. Press the clips firmly to ensure they are securely in place. Then, press both legs of the clips against a firm surface until you hear a click.
- Reconnect the system after completing this procedure.
Tip: Double-check for ozone production by placing the electrolysis unit with the O3 Micro Cell in a glass of water to see if ozone bubbles are produced.
