Lifespan and Reusability

The Travel-Mate CCS has been tested for bacteria reduction and has been proven to filter at least 6000 litres of water without reduced efficiency. This makes it a reliable choice, even with intensive use.

To extend the life of the filter element, you can clean the ceramic surface when it starts to get clogged. Sandpaper can be used for this, with which you sand the ceramic. If necessary, you can also carefully scrape the surface with a knife, for example.

When the ceramic becomes too thin, it is time to replace it.

With these maintenance options, the Travel-Mate offers a practical and sustainable solution for safe drinking water, even under challenging conditions.

After use, the filter can easily be opened and the filter element can be unscrewed for cleaning and to let it dry properly. By storing the filter element dry and clean, it remains hygienic and can be reused at any time.
