PP filter extends filter element life:

By placing this Polypropylene 10 micron Sediment Filter in front of the 1 micron Carbon and the 0.03 micron Ultra membrane filter element, the life of the filter can be extended. Dirt can cause the activated carbon cylinder and the ultra membranes to become clogged prematurely. When this happens, the water pressure of the water from the tap will decrease.
